In 2017 Matthew was commissioned by the Belmond group London to renovate the private suite 67 within the grounds of the luxury hotel. Working alongside Italian architects, Matthew used local materials and craftspeople to ensure the suite remained authentic and sympathetic to its surroundings. Highly patterned, decorative and unique flourishes throughout has put this suite on the design map. Conde Nast Traveller noted the suite as one of its top 10 worldwide recommendations for a fashionable and luxurious get away.
