Finding the perfect scatter cushions to tie a room together is one of life’s greatest pleasures. A simple, decorative and stylish cluster of cushions will bring any sofa, bed or armchair right up to date. I love arranging different shapes and styles together, clashing vintage prints with vibrant, contemporary fabrics for a look that is at once eclectic and cosy.

My love and appreciation for a great cushion originates in my lifelong passion for printed textiles, which was inspired and nurtured by my Mum. She was magnetic in her curated, immaculate appearance, always wearing a thoughtful mix of printed garments in patterns and colours to catch the eye.

In 1994, I graduated from Central Saint Martins with a BA Hons 2:1 in Fashion and Textile Design, and the skills I learned there have been with me ever since. Not long after graduating, I had the privilege of working with Dame Zandra Rhodes, an absolute pioneer of print, pattern and colour. She imparted some of the most invaluable knowledge that I carry with me to this day. Applying the skills I honed in fashion and the wisdom of industry greats to interior design has been a hugely fulfilling, creative journey. Now I’m on an eternal search for my next favourite fabric for my next favourite cushion.
