Matthew Williamson first established his creative reputation through his namesake fashion brand which brought him international acclaim. Celebrated by Vogue for his “bold use of colour and mixing of prints” his design language has since evolved seamlessly into interiors, homeware and lifestyle as well as fashion, where his richly layered aesthetic continues to thrive.
Today, Matthew Williamson is an award-winning multidisciplinary design house, creating expressive spaces, collections and collaborations shaped by narrative, personality and a distinctive decorative joyful vision. As Williamson has said, “I always want my work to have an element of joy. It’s meant to make you feel better in some small shape or form - whether a wallpaper, a gown, a hotel or a lamp, joy is in everything I do".
